Mission
The mission of Gilroy Yamoto Hot Springs Land Trust is to support the California State Parks in preserving the history of this site while also expanding low-impact access to the public.
We aim to honor the historical legacy borne from the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, the early settlers of the City of Gilroy, and Kyuzaburo Sakata who provided refuge to Japanese Americans following their release from the internment camps post-World War II.
We place conservation, heritage protection, and ecological management at the center of the project.
